Steps, workouts, sleep or weight aren't showing

MacroMania reads these from Apple Health. Open the Health app, tap your profile picture, then Apps > MacroMania, and turn on every category. Weight from a smart scale (such as Withings) appears once the scale's app writes it to Apple Health. You can also tap Profile > Request Health access again.

A barcode isn't found

Barcode lookups search USDA FoodData Central, FatSecret and Open Food Facts. Some store brands aren't in any of them. Add the food yourself from the label, and save it so it's there next time.

How accurate are restaurant meals?

Restaurant meals are estimates built from each restaurant's published nutrition information. Portions vary from visit to visit, so treat them as a close guide, not an exact count.

How is my calorie goal calculated?

Your calorie goal comes from your protein, carb and fat goals (4 calories per gram of protein and carbs, 9 per gram of fat). Change the macro goals and the calorie goal follows. Workout days and rest days can have different goals.

How do I share foods with my family?

Go to Profile > Family, sign in with your email, and create a family. Create an invite code and send it; the other person enters it under Profile > Family > Join a family. Only the foods you share are uploaded. Food logs stay on each person's own phone.

How do I send my weekly report to my trainer?

Add your trainer's or nutritionist's email under Profile > Professional contacts. Then open Progress > Weekly report and tap Send. The report goes from your own Mail app.

Will my data move to a new iPhone?

Yes, when you restore the new phone from an iCloud or computer backup of the old one. Health data moves with your Apple Health backup.

How do I delete my account or my data?

To delete your Family sharing account, go to Profile > Family > Delete account. To remove everything on your phone, delete the app. See the Privacy Policy for details.
